Interested in an early morning hike, taking a few pics and meeting a few local photographers; all followed by a nice breakfast? If so, come along!

I will be leaving Dirty Woman Park, located in Monument Colorado, for a trail-head located off of Mt Herman Road, AT 0415. I want to leave in time to catch a decent sunrise as seen from Mt Herman. The sun "rises" at ~0535, but the best shots will probably be from 0430 - 0550.
There is some elevation gain along the trail, obviously. 

Be sure to wear something warm. I recommend light gloves, maybe something to cover your ears, and decent hiking shoes/boots. Trekking poles are a nice bonus, especially coming down.

The hike is short, but all up-hill; takes about 15 minutes. We will not be ascending Mt Herman itself, tho it will be in view and you are, of course, free to do what you'd like. (See pics; Mt Herman is seen off to the left.)

I'll be having breakfast at the Coffee Cup Cafe, in old-town Monument, after the hike. You are more than welcome to join.
